More than 70% of your colleagues signed the CIPP Bargaining Expectations petition. In the petition, you called on your employer to meaningfully engage in collective bargaining, address your priorities, and treat you and your colleagues with respect. You’ve proven that collective action works, and your employer is listening.

On Tuesday, March 10, wear blue and remind the City of Ottawa that you and your colleagues are united for your bargaining demands! City of Ottawa management needs to make up for years of inadequate salary increases, commit to job security, and invest in employee wellness. How to Participate: March 10, 2026
On Tuesday, March 10, if you are working in-person or online, make your support visible by wearing blue! CIPP staff will be at Constellation and City Hall on March 10 with refreshments, a photo booth, and CIPP merch. The more members who wear blue, the stronger the message: CIPP members are the professionals who care for this city, and you are taking a stand for respect.
Ways that you and your team can participate:
- Wear a CIPP t-shirt, lanyard or pin
- Wear something blue of your own! A blue shirt, sweater, scarf, hat, vest, etc.
- Place a CIPP sticker on your laptop, phone case, or water bottle
- Change your background in Teams/Zoom to the CIPP background
- Change your profile picture in Teams/Zoom to the CIPP logo
- Update your email signature to include “Proud member of CIPP”
