CIPP City of Ottawa Bargaining Town Hall – March 2026

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST your CIPP Negotiating Committee invites you to attend a virtual town hall for an update on the bargaining process thus far.

Your negotiating committee has been at the table with your employer working hard to present strong proposals that reflect your bargaining priorities. This town hall will provide you with an opportunity to hear directly from your negotiating committee and ask questions about what is happening next.

The town hall will take place over Zoom and will last one hour. To attend the town hall, you must register using the form below. If you have any questions about bargaining in advance, please feel free to submit them using the form or bring them with you to the session. 

As bargaining continues, it is essential to maintain pressure on the employer to address your priorities. At the town hall we will also be discussing our next steps to maintain the pressure we have put on City of Ottawa management following the success of the CIPP Bargaining Expectations Petition. 

There is work ahead for every single CIPP member in achieving a new collective agreement that reflects the value of the work you do every day to care for the city.
