What is the CIPP Scholarship Program?

Each year the CIPP Scholarship Committee awards four scholarships of $2500.

Applications are open to all children, stepchildren and wards of CIPP members who are enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • They must be a child, stepchild, or ward of a CIPP member.
  • They must be pursuing full-time studies in any year of a degree/diploma program at a Canadian post-secondary educational institution.
  • Financial need is not a consideration for this scholarship.
  • Applicants must submit all required application information.
  • A recipient may receive a CIPP scholarship one time only.

Selection Process

The selection process is carried out by the CIPP Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee reviews all applications and scores the submissions based on the essay, transcripts and letter of recommendation. The Scholarship Committee selects the top four applicants and presents their scholarship their nominees to the CIPP Board of Directors. Once final selections are made the Scholarship Committee will announce the four recipients. Everyone who applies for a scholarship will be contacted.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 26 by 11:59 PM for the following fall term.
