Solidarity with Nurses!

It’s National Nursing Week! 

We are so proud of CIPP nurses.  

Nurses in our union work in long-term care facilities and for Ottawa Public Health. You have taken care of our elder family members through these tough times. You have provided COVID-19 vaccinations and care throughout the pandemic.  

There are not enough words to express our gratitude.  

Nurses across our province have done so much for us all. And yet, our current government has passed Bill 124 which limits their wage increases to 1% over three years. This is unacceptable.  

Bill 124 does not directly impact CIPP nurses. But nurses employed directly by the province need our support. All nurses deserve better.
