2025 CIPP Committees – Apply now!

CIPP Committees are an important part of our governance structure. Members on these committees contribute to the leadership of our union.

CIPP Scholarship Committee

The CIPP Scholarship Committee oversees the scholarship application process and will evaluate and select the 2025 scholarship recipients.

The scholarship fund was established to support the educational goals of children of CIPP members by providing financial assistance to eligible students entering any year of a full-time degree/diploma program at a Canadian post-secondary educational institution.

CIPP Member Engagement and Diversity Committee

The CIPP Member Engagement and Diversity Committee (MEDC) provides oversight and input to the development and implementation of member engagement and outreach activities. It also provides leadership in CIPP’s work on Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Applications for both committees are now being accepted.

Interested members are asked to complete a brief online application form that asks you to identify yourself, explain your motivation, share about your experience CIPP, other union and community organization as well as share about your relevant skills and experience.

Based on these criteria, a selection committee will rank the applicants. Normally members will not serve on both the Scholarship Committee and the Member Engagement and Diversity Committee at the same time.

Committee members will be appointed for a two-year term. All committee members receive an annual stipend of AMOUNT in appreciation of their contribution.

The deadline to submit your application is January 27.
