CIPP’s Negotiations Teams have been working hard on behalf of its members. An agreement was reached with Ottawa Community Housing and was ratified on June 26th, 2017. CIPP and the City of Ottawa reached a tentative agreement on September 25th, 2017 and the ratification process is now underway.

City of Ottawa Realignment Wrap up

CIPP staff made every effort to protect the employment of all those who wanted to stay at the City and, overall, were very successful. CIPP will continue to advocate for those members who remain on priority placement status.

Audit and Budget Estimate Available

An audit has been conducted for the transitional fiscal period of July 1 to December 31, 2016. CIPP's Board of Directors also thought it was important for the membership to see how budget estimates approved by the AGM compared to actual costs.
